Before the Bedtime Ritual

Hi, my name is Jennifer. Married for 17 years, and mom of 3. And I just recently stumbled
upon a method to get my old self back...
I remember the good old days in my 20's and 30's when I used to:
Have plently of energy the entire day
Maintain a trim figure even while living on junk food and snacks
Eat whatever I wanted, WHEN I wanted and not gain an ounce
​Stay in great shape when I barely stepped foot into the gym
​Feel confident and comfortable wearing form-fitting tops, tanks, and shorts.
That was until...somewhere in my early 40's. 

After 40, EVERYTHING Went Downhill, Quickly...

All of a sudden... my once slim and petite figure became a magnet for pounds and bulges in ALL the wrong places
It felt like my metabolism had slowed to a crawl...
And I also felt more tired and sluggish, as if my health was deteriorating.
I would hop into bed earlier at night, hoping that it would help me make it through the next day...
Some nights I would even sleep 10 HOURS, and still be dragging the next day.
I didn't realized how bad it gotten, that is, until my husband and I were visiting his side of the family in Florida. He had
booked a nice condo on AirBnb for us to stay in.
When we stepped into the bathroom, I noticed a fancy digital scaled sitting right in the middle of the floor. We have
not had a scale in our house for years.
Hesitantly, I decided to step on it just to see what it read.

I Was Determined To Get The "REAL ME" back!

First thing I did when I arrived home was to start walking. But I quickly found out that my joints couldn't bear the impact of my weight I was carrying at the time.
Then I started a juice detox with smoothies and juicing.
I had some small success with it earlier but I soon find out it left me too hungry and I end up binge snacking at night. (Which ruined all my momentum)
I even tried some weird concoction the lady at my local health food store recommended. Like strange concoctions in the kitchen with pickle juice (ew), apple cider vinegar, lemons, bananas, and more....
While I was on this "natural home made remedy" kick, I even tried out food detox pads, and putting a peeled onion in my socks.
(And I'm a little embarrassed to admit I slept with onion in my socks...)
Next, I tried Keto. There were some good recipes to be made but I missed my carbs so badly...
Then I started counting calories, tried Paleo, even went vegan for an entire month..but the number on the scale barely moved...
I thought to myself.. "could something be wrong with me internally?"
So I made an appointment with my doctor to get it check out

What My Doctor Revealed TOTALLY Shocked Me...

He calmly sat me down and said, "Jennifer there is nothing to worry about. This is not something you did wrong."
He explained how my weight gain over the years had absolutely NOTHING to do with what I ate or how much I exercise.
He then lowered his voice a little, and checked over his shoulders down the hallway as if to see if anyone in the clinic was listening...
